Nadia Natali

Nadia Natali received an MA in Dance/Movement Therapy from Hunter College in New York City, and an another MA in clinical psychotherapy from Santa Barbara Graduate Institute, specializing in trauma resolutions through somatic work.

She is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), a registered practitioner of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (RCST) and also has completed the three-year training program in Pre and Perinatal Therapy with Ray Castellino.

Nadia is the creator of DanceMedicine, an effective way to release trauma using a somatic intervention with dance. Her work is a synthesis of her varied skills. She offers workshops,  private sessions and trainings.

Nadia wrote a memoir: Stairway to Paradise: Growing Up Gershwin and two cookbooks, Blue Heron Ranch Cookbook: and Zafu Kitchen: Recipe and Stories from Blue Heron Zen Center and is currently writing a book DanceMedicine Journey.

Nadia and her husband offer Zen retreats at Blue Heron Zen Center in Ojai California.
